Every commercial roof in the country, ranked by what we make
797,349 UK commercial buildings from the EPC register, each with a modelled solar system, sized and costed against the live 2025 market — then ranked per area by our own closed-deal fee. Pick an area, see the money, drill down to the named buildings and exactly what each one is worth to us.

Buildings, roof sizes and EPC bands are live EPC-register data; systems are sized from floor area and costed on the 2025 market curve (£1,000/kWp under 50 kWp, £900 to 250 kWp, £750 above); savings use 26p import / 5p export and sector self-consumption. Our fee is a modelled closed-deal success fee (10% under £50k, 7% to £100k, 5% above) plus a 3% equipment-supply margin — indicative and total-addressable across every building, not booked revenue. Warehouse and industrial estates (M17 Trafford Park, NN4 Northampton, S9 Sheffield, NW10 Park Royal) lead on roof yield; office-dense central London (SE1, E14) leads on the MEES compliance angle.
Scan an estate, know every business on it
One real UK industrial estate, scanned from public data alone: every company on it from Companies House, joined to its roof survey from the Google Solar API. Who occupies the building, who to call, whether they can fund it, and exactly how much solar the roof holds, before anyone makes contact.

Company name, SIC sector, incorporation, accounts status and the named director are live Companies House data; roof, orientation and generation are live Google Solar API outputs for the registered-office building (multi-site firms may operate elsewhere). Savings and opportunity are modelled estimates. This is one estate of thousands: the same scan runs on any UK postcode, and the EPC register feeds the residential version.
The grid-scale end of the market
Rooftop is the volume play; this is the high-value one. The same OS runs the deal desk for utility-scale renewables: solar farms, battery storage and waste-to-energy, through grid connection, off-take and the build-or-sell-at-RTB decision. We hold our own live pipeline and a live read of every renewable project in the country from the gov planning database.

UK market totals and the project list are live from the Renewable Energy Planning Database (DESNZ, Q1 2026 extract, free): 14,316 projects, 375 GW. Our own pipeline cards show the live watt_project register (sensitive deal-desk detail gated). The OS runs grid (NESO Gate-2), off-take/PPA, finance and the build-vs-RTB-sale track; REPD lets us source and rank every one of the 4,967 solar and battery projects currently awaiting construction.
The law is the salesperson
We don't have to persuade these owners — the regulations already have. Under MEES a sub-standard building is unlettable until it is upgraded: a private-rented home rated F or G can't legally be let, and a commercial F/G can't be leased. This radar reads the EPC register for those properties — today's slice is the private-rented domestic F/G/E book, with commercial F/G landing as that EPC slice ingests — and pairs each with the fix we fund: solar, fabric retrofit, grant and finance in one. The distress board does the same for companies: a live insolvency signal changes the deal, and when a director overlaps our own network we already have the way in.

MEES rows are live from the EPC register via v_epc_mees_target: "breach" = below the legal minimum and unlettable now, "at risk" = band E, caught by the tightening to C. Today's slice is private-rented-sector domestic; the same view flags non-domestic F/G (commercial, unlettable) as that EPC slice ingests. Distress rows are live Gazette insolvency notices matched to Companies House via v_insolvency_radar — market intelligence only; nothing is filed or sent (Rule 4). "Survey the roof" runs the live Google Solar API on the deployed portal.
Survey & job
Start from an address: the OS surveys the roof, sizes the system and models the savings, then carries it into the job. Match every eligible UK scheme and assemble the filled compliance documents for sign-off. Nothing is submitted to any portal without your tick.

The whole job line
A solar job is not one form, it is a line from finding the customer to maintaining the system. Each stage runs on an engine we already own; this console is the spine that connects them. Live stages run today, staged stages are wired and waiting on their phase.
6 live · 5 staged · mapped to the owned-engine registerStatus reflects the build phase, not a marketing claim. "Live" means the engine is in production and reachable; "staged" means it exists and is wired but its solar configuration ships in a later phase. UK solar & retrofit scheme catalogue
The funding and connection rules every install runs into, encoded as testable eligibility logic so no scheme is ever missed. This is the same catalogue the console matches against, read straight from the database.
Live source solar_scheme_catalogue · 6 active schemes · each links to its official sourceEligibility is held as data, not code, so adding or updating a scheme is a row change verified against its gov.uk / Ofgem / ENA source, not a rebuild. ECO4 closed 31 Mar 2026 and is intentionally absent; the Warm Homes Plan is its live successor.
What a job is worth, and to whom
The OS does not just remove admin, it runs the deal. Here is one real commercial job tracked end to end, with the value split across every party in the chain. This is the model that lets one operator run many firms.

| Party | Stage | Value |

Figures are the seeded worked example in the live tables (prospect Manchester Industrial Estate), shown to illustrate the model. Stages past qualification are still open on this deal, so install, supply and maintenance values are projected from the commission schedule, not booked revenue. No figure here is invented at display time.
Data cost is real external pricing: a roof survey is ~1.2p (Google Geocoding $0.005 + Solar Building Insights $0.010 per call), a full estate scan ~16p, a flux heatmap +~7p (Solar Data Layers $0.075); Companies House, EPC and REPD are free, and the first 10,000 surveys a month sit inside Google's free tier. One site, every energy product
Solar is the way in, not the whole deal. The same engine — survey, eligibility, finance, supply, Aftab's delivery — runs the whole energy transition for a site: storage, heat, transport and efficiency. Every product carries its own UK grant or scheme, so one surveyed site becomes a stack of deals, not one.
7 product lines · each with its live UK grant/scheme · the same OSMarket size is real and sourced (see below). Grant/scheme values are the published UK figures; "live" = already wired into the OS, "next" = on the roadmap on the same engine. The point: the addressable deal per site is the whole stack, and the market is the UK building-energy transition, not solar alone.
